Assembly Winter 2011 the Teams

Winter Assembly take part 11. - 13.02.2011 in Helsinki Finland

*** UPDATE: Lions are not coming to Assembly ***

In just one month our Team CKRAS plays at the Assembly Winter from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th Februar 2011. The biggest gaming event in Finland is held in Kaapelitehdas (Cable Factory) in the heart of Helsinki.

More than 1000 Players will play there and concentrate on gaming. It is the first time since 2006 in our discpline "Counter-Strike Source" that a foreign team (Oslo Lions from Norway) will play at Kaapelitehdas. The final prizepot isn´t the biggest, is low once again and it seems that is more a warmup for the upcoming event in Stockholm for our team. But nevertheless we expect nothing else as the 1st place as current EPS Nordic Season III Champion!

The last missing team was played out at the LanTrek taken part last week. But the first 2 places where already in the pool of seeded teams - alternate the 3rd place will get the missing 8th spot in the Winter Assembly 2011.

We are expecting tough games and it will be a diffuclt task for us to get revange on eXelon for the Summer Assembly 2010 loss. In the end we are convinced that we have the skill, experience and coolness to get the victory in this (non)-Finish Battle of the Titans.

Counter-Strike: Source is one of the main pro tournaments in Assembly Winter '11. The time has come to publish the participants of the anticipated tournament. It was very pleasant to see the amount of total applicants and that there were many new teams applying for the tournament.

Total of 7 teams are listed here; the last spot is handed out in two weeks time at the LanTrek Counter-Strike: Source tournament held in Ylöjärvi, Finland. We are also very proud to see that the international CS:S scene has taken interest of the Assembly and thus we are inviting total of 3 international teams. One reigning from Norway and one from Russia.
