ETF2L Season 10

I'm looking back in the tables after the season and I cannot feel good about our 5th placement. We had some ups and downs, good matches against the top teams, stealing half of the points in most of the games, then again very bad matches against lower teams.

Season 10 Tables Premier Division

All in all the season was very hard this time, lots of rescheduling for the matches as I had major internet problems. While writing this I'm getting new INET and hopefully it will perform better in the future.

Before the season we talked about what is our current form and what we are capable of, we aimed to be top5 in europe, and yeah we got it but I still cant feel satisfied. We have so much more potential, games against giants like epsilon showed it. We can be #1, but not with the current line up. We are going to do some changes regarding few players who haven't been able to be on top notch shape all of the season. Personal skills is something that every player should try to improve and I've got the feeling from couple players that it's not the case for them. We are replacing our current demoman Mika ‘TucE' Mäkelä with a new demoman. We don't have big pool of players to look for, and that's making the job easier. We are currently testing 2 players to replace TucE. From the 1st game with the new demoman I got the feeling that we are going to get more out of this team. With more aggressive demoman giving support to our soldiers, games should get easier for the rest of the team. No disrespect to TucE but the level of the top5 is just too much for him, I've tried to give him time to improve, but it's just not going to happen.

Back to the season, I'm not going to analyze single games as that would be too much for you, and maybe for me. But what I can say about future, it's ours to take.

Next article will be about future leagues / cups / lans, and confirming our new lineup to challenge #1 spot in TF2.

Thanks for the support from CKRAS.com providing best TF2 servers, and great hardware from Roccat.
