Hello CISU, first of all thank you for taking your time to do this interview. Yourself and the CKRAS team has been dominating the finnish CS:S scene for quite some time, what are your expectations for this event?

No problem. I'm expecting a nice Finnish lan with some good matches and hopefully our first Assembly victory!

 

Assembly is a LAN event which attracts the top of the finnish CS:S-scecne every summer and winter. What is so attractive about Assembly?

I think it's because it's one of the only good non-byoc lans here in Finland and it usually has decent prizes.

 

What do you think about the prize pot at Assembly? Is that enough for the top of Finland?

The prize pot could be bigger if u ask me, it would be nice to see foreign teams attending assembly events in the future as well, but with these prizes it's not going to happen.

 

Here on XplayN.com we have made some predictions for the top 3 at Assembly, which is 1. CKRAS 2. eXelon and 3. Team VODKA!. What are your top 3 prediction?

My top 3 would be: CKRAS, eXelon and Menace.fi.

 

Let's talk about your team, CKRAS. What does the near future bring for CKRAS besides Assembly?

After assembly we have two weeks to prepare ourselves to 30p lan in Sweden. After that I'm not really sure, but we're keeping our eyes open to any events.

 

Could you give a short label for each of your teammates?

Angeldust is our main awp, nashje disturbed and myself are tearing it up with rifles and kononen is our ingameleader.

 

Do you have any fun stories from LANs or anything with the CKRAS team?

First thing that comes to my mind is our journey back from Denmark after dsrack#3. As everyone who attended the CSS tournament probably knows, there was not much time for sleep during the last night of the event. We checked out of our hotel and got ourselves to the airport and had like 4 to 5 hours of spare time before our flight would depart. I actually can't even remember that much from there, but I do remember that it was just non-stop laughing... From 4 pm all the way to 1 am when we landed. Disturbed was in some kind of trance, he couldn't speak a word. He was just giggling quietly but didn't say anything for hours. Me and nashje were just pretty much staring and laughing at each other the whole flight for some odd reason. The whole trip back to Finland was just really messed up.
